Problem

Branding was outdated and no longer represented who Imagine was as a company. In 2018 I brought up the idea of a rebrand with the managing partners and they were open to the idea of exploring a refresh.

Process

  • Initial brainstorm with entire team followed up by design department teams to dig deeper into who Imagine is.
  • Individual design team members worked sketches and concepts.
  • Held design team concept reviews and narrowed down to single idea.
  • Worked and finalized big idea, created accompanying collateral design.

Solution

I developed a hand drawn single line light bulb (I filled pages and pages with bulbs). After all of our digging we realized that when you strip everything away to the bare bones, Imagine is a place where ideas are born. A vibrant color palette was created along with several patterns to expand the brand and give us the ability to keep the brand fresh.
